The minimum age required to become a pilot is 18 years

There are no minimum height criterias.

Basic requirements are as follows:

  1. Class 1 medical assessment
  2. All subjects should be cleared
  3. Valid PCC
  4. RTR License
  5. FRTOL

Visa process varies from country to country.

"Conversion flying" refers to the process of a pilot with a pilot license from one country undergoing additional flight training to convert that license to a license issued by another country's aviation authority, essentially allowing them to legally fly commercially in that new jurisdiction; this typically involves familiarization with local regulations, aircraft types, and airspace procedures, often requiring additional flight tests to demonstrate proficiency under the new standards.

Documents are as follows:

VALID CLASS 1 MEDICAL ASSESSMENT

RTR

PCC

FRTOL

FOREIGN CPL

VALID FOREIGN MEDICAL CERIFICATE

ALL DGCA EXAMS CLEARED 

It will approximately 5 months.

It takes approximately  14 – 16 months for flight training.

It is an unique identification number issued by the DGCA which is needed to apply for DGCA exams.

The list of required documents are :

  1. 10/10 + 2 BVC
  2. AADHAR CARD
  3. 10/10+2 MARKSHEET
  4. PASSING CERTIFICATE

BVC stands for board verification certificate which is provided by the respective board.

Within preceeding 6 months of the date of application, you should meet the following criteria :

  1. GFT by DAY
  2. GFT by NIGHT
  3. 15 hours PIC (solo flights)
  4. 5 hours night (10 solo take offs and landings)
  5. 5 hours IF
  6. 250nm (day cross country , one full stop landing away from the AD)
  7. 120nm (night cross country, returning to departure AD without landing elsewhere)
  8. Papers cleared within preceeding 60 months
  9. Valid class 1 medical assessment.
