Got Questions?

Frequently Asked Questions

Eligibility & Requirements
Training & Costs
Documentation & Registration
Visa & Conversion
What is the minimum age to become a pilot? +

You need to be at least 18 years old to begin your journey. So if you're still in school — start prepping now, future captain!

Is there a minimum height requirement to become a pilot? +

No minimum height criteria — none, zero, nada. The cockpit doesn't discriminate. All that matters is your skills and medical fitness.

What theory papers do I need to clear for an Indian CPL? +

Six DGCA papers stand between you and that licence — no skipping, no shortcuts:

  • Air Navigation
  • Aviation Meteorology
  • Air Regulations
  • Radio Telephony Restricted (RTR)
  • Technical General
  • Technical Specific

Grind these and you're halfway there.

How long do ground classes take? +

Ground classes run for approximately 5 months. It's a solid grind covering all DGCA theory subjects — but trust the process, it's worth every hour.

How long does flight training take? +

Expect around 14 to 16 months up in the skies. Duration may vary based on your flying school, weather, and individual progress — but this is your main character era, so enjoy it.

What is the total cost to become a pilot — ground classes to CPL? +

The full journey — from day one of ground classes to holding your CPL — typically costs between ₹60 to ₹90 Lakhs (INR) depending on the country. It's a significant investment, but so is every great career. Plan smart, start early.

What is a Computer Number? +

Think of your Computer Number as your official DGCA ID — a unique identification number you need before you can register for any DGCA theory examinations. Step one of the whole process, so don't sleep on it.

What documents are needed to generate a Computer Number? +

Keep these four things ready:

  • Board Verification Certificate (BVC) — Class 10 & 12
  • Aadhaar Card
  • Class 10 & 12 Marksheets
  • Passing Certificate

Simple documents, big first step.

What steps are involved in the visa process for overseas training? +

The visa process varies country to country — no one-size-fits-all here. We provide dedicated visa assistance to walk you through every step based on your chosen destination. Just reach out and we've got you covered.

What is Conversion Flying? +

Conversion Flying is the process of taking your foreign pilot licence and converting it into an Indian DGCA-recognised CPL. It involves additional flight training, proficiency checks, and demonstrating that you meet Indian aviation standards. Basically — new country, new licence, same skills.
